Founded in 2014, the company began by making candles from scraps in recycled jam pots, hence the name Let's Jam. Over the years, the business expanded and diversified into creating a range of products that are either handcrafted in London or sourced responsibly from around the world.

The business is the brainchild of Laetitia and her Yorkshire Terrier, Happy. The name Laetitia translates to "Joy" in Latin, hence the company also operates under the name JoyandHappyness.com.
